Glass mask for The Animal Ball, Clarence House 2013
Commissioned by The Elephant Family, Deutsche Bank’s Charity of the Year 2013, Lucy was briefed to create a mask for their masked ball fundraiser. Made of blown glass, the mask was then kiln formed, hand polished, engraved and backed with hand beaten silver and adorned with antique sliver cutlery handles.
Lucy’s glass mask was exhibited alongside the work of other high profile artists and designers, including Mario Testino and Japer Conran, at Sothebys and then auctioned to guests of The Animal Ball at Clarence House, London 2013.
